Andy Grainger and a team from the FMOS Implementation project spent a day at the Thames Valley Adventure Playground at the end of September. The 10-strong group constructed a shelter and painted a brightly coloured mural on an outside wall. All the materials were supplied and Andy’s team provided the labour. Helen Brown designed the mural.
“We all felt we wanted to do something, ” he said. “They were asking for some help and we particularly wanted to help children, so this was ideal.”
It was also hard work and the team was grateful for Andy’s impromptu Twix tea moment to keep them going!
