Supporting our associates
- At Mars we recognise the importance of supporting associates who want to give something
back to our communities. The MARS IN THE COMMUNITY associate programme offers opportunities
for associates to do just that through :
- Volunteering
- Our volunteering programme has been developed as part of the personal development
process to enable associates to give their time and skills to support community
initiatives and develop key competencies.
- Match Funding
- Mars is committed to supporting its associates in their fund raising activities
and will, therefore, match-fund money raised pound for pound up to £200 per associate
per year.
- Product Donations
- Associates may apply for support on behalf of a charity or good cause, provided
they are personally involved in that cause.
- Payroll Giving
- Mars operates a Give As You Earn scheme so that associates can choose to donate
to the charity of their choice direct from their pay, tax free.
